The question of the day is…. Who do you trust and why?
Time after time, we’re told that vaccines are, not only “harmless”, but a necessary good for society, yet time after time we hear anecdotal evidence that seems to strongly point to the contrary.
So, do you blindly trust the medical professionals or do your own research? Meme after meme condescendingly preaches “trust the professionals more than a mom who did a google search”. We turn to the internet for answers on literally everything else in our daily lives, but when it comes to this topic, you’re an “idiot” if even question it. And your doctor is probably a very smart well-meaning person, but between them and the mother, who do you think is more concerned for the well being of the child?
People aren’t ex-vaxers as a political statement, they’re ex-vaxers as a parent doing everything in their power to protect their child to the best of their abilities and understanding and let me tell you… these days, it’s certainly not a decision made out of laziness because it’s a hell of a lot harder to avoid than you might think.
Today’s episode is my conversation with producer of The Doctors, Dr Phil, Vaxxed, and more, Del Bigtree. Del is also the host of the internet talk-show, The HighWire and is best known for his controversial eye-opening voice in the vaccine debate.
In a time of “digital book burning” of unpopular opinions, Del is standing firm against great adversity and scrutiny in his call for more testing, more research, and more evidence on vaccine side effects while government officials move closer and closer toward mandatory inoculations for all.
This is not a discussion of “is your doctor evil?” or “are you a bad parent?”. This is a discussion of “do you own your own body or does the government?” and “do you want to know what is being injected into the bodies of you and your family?”.
This discussion has the potential of being one of the most important ones I’ve ever had on the show, so of course, we had technical difficulties. However, the conversation worked out and it’s definitely one packed full of information that should be shared.
