240: The Mises Caucus “Take Over” vs the LPPA Pittsburg Bylaws w. John Odermatt

On Today’s Episode:

This weekend in Pittsburg, PA, members of the Libertarian Party traveled from far and wide to take part in the Mises Caucus’ Take Human Action Bash and the LPPA Convention. I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of being in attendance, but thru the social media grapevine, I heard rumblings about both. It sounded to me like the Bash went off without a hitch and with a lot of high energy, but around the Convention, there seemed to be a lot more high tension and controversy with some certain bylaws that prevented nearly 200 new LP members from voting. So, here to give us the scoop, is friend of the show and fellow podcaster, John Odermatt of Lions of Liberty’s Finding Freedom.

Is the Mises Caucus “Take Over” of the LP a scary exclusive thing? Were the enforced bylaws an act of policy or fear? And how did the energy levels differ between the two events?
